Cloudy and Wet Monday
Just chatted with Diane on FB. She'll get her foot stitches out today and hopefully be as good as new. Know she's been going stir-crazy at home for the last week. I'm still feeling bad so broke down and made dr. appt. for 2 today...probably will need antibiotic to get rid of this stuff...think it's a sinus infection, but now my ears hurt so may have spread. Henry and I walked early...wet as the dickens outside but no rain falling. No squirrel for Henry to tree nor deer to chase...he was clearly bored with a plain old walk. He came home and went straight to his bed...guess he decided to join all the rest of us and enjoy the rain from a reclining position. I'm on a second cup of tea and will head into town later in the day. The daylilies, iris, jacob's ladder, and grass that Mary gave me are looking so good after the rain. I hope that it made them settle into the ground and that they will survive my yard. I'm so delighted to get them...Mary's yard is so full of lovely flowers. I aspire to be as good a gardener as she. I'm watching my tomatoes closely...waiting for the blooms to become little itty bitty tomatoes...so far not yet.
